Mark Archer is the charismatic director of Blowout Sax. He founded the school in 1989 and has taught close on to one thousand people to play the Saxophone. His mission for the Blowout Sax school is to open up the world of the Saxophone to everyone who wants to try it. As a singer, songwriter and all round musician, Mark has composed songs and music based on beautiful melodies which colour his approach to Saxophone teaching. Mark has written the book upon which the Blowout Sax method of teaching is based. Mark's other works include his recently completed book Sax Madmen, which recounts the hilarious misadventures of Adolphe Sax and fourteen of the top Saxophonists of all time. Mark teaches alto and tenor saxophone.
